Day With Paleo-Joe.
Tours start at 9:30am
end around 4:00 pm
This includes a guided tour with Paleo Joe of various fossil sites in Alpena, including Burkholder, Rockport State Recreation Area and Lafarge quarries.
Space is limited
Must provide own transportation
$25.00 a ticket for MEMBERS
$35.00 a ticket for Non-Members.
Map and Directions provided by Paleo Joe along with printed hand-out materials for fossil identification. Participants are to bring their own lunches, buckets, hammers, tools for fossil hunting.
Dress appropriately and wear proper foot wear
