Viewing and discussion of Destino, a surreal, collaborative work of Salvador Dali and Disney. Multiple viewings to be held at the NOAA Film Festival. Showings at 11 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.

A collaborative exploration of a Dali masterpiece (the work is divided into thematic sections, and individual groups will work separately on the themes and symbolism. Afterwards, we put it all together to experience the synergy of the whole becoming more than the sum of its parts.

For the Love of Art
Everyone has a different standard or preference concerning the visual arts. Together, we will learn, individually and corporately, what defines our artistic “taste”, and that it is ok to “like what you like.” We will use Salvador Dali’s works as a jumping-off point, but will expand our exploration to encompass a variety of artists and artistic movements.
