Artist Meet & Greet

Portals by the Northeast Michigan Artists’ Guild

Open through July 24, 2017

Opening Reception:

What:  The Northeast Michigan Artists’ Guild selected “Portals” as the theme for our 2017 exhibit at the Besser Museum.  NEMAG artists have created art depicting doors, gates, arches and entries into other places.  Some are realistic, some abstract and each will provoke thought about moving from one place to another.

We have added a People’s Choice award for this exhibit.  Ballots will be available at the front desk of the Museum beginning on Saturday, April 22nd. First prize winner and runner-up will be announced on June 24 during the Museum’s annual Log Cabin Day and the beginning of NEMAG’s Really Big Art Sale.

When:  Saturday, April 22nd

Time:  3pm—5pm

Cost:  Free

This opening reception is free and open to the public.  Exhibit will be open through the first week of August 2017 during our regular business hours and will be included with your general admission to the museum.

Our mission is to collect, preserve, interpret, and exhibit authentic articles and artifacts of art, history, and science to

inspire curiosity, foster community pride, and cultivate personal legacy.
