Christine Witulski

Executive Director

Christine graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Spring Arbor University.  Christine has been employed at the Besser Museum since 2009 starting out as the Education Director. As the Education Director, she developed museum programs that aligned with the Michigan State benchmarks.  Christine worked with local businesses and agencies to develop the Lafarge Fossil Park.  Christine took over as Executive Director in October 2012. 

 

Since then, Christine has been working with local, regional, and statewide partners to develop the Michigan Great Lakes Fisheries Heritage Consortium and Statewide Trail, the Besser Museum’s Fisheries Heritage Exhibit, the Besser Museum Fine Arts Exhibits, and the Native American Exhibit. She also serves as the Vice President on the Michigan Arts and Culture Northeast (MACNE).

inspire curiosity, foster community pride, and cultivate personal legacy.
