The Besser Museum for Northeast Michigan is EXTREMELY grateful to be a recipient of a $5,000 Michigan  Humanities H.O.P.E. grant to help with operational expenses. The H.O.P.E. grant is part of the Coronavirus Relief Act and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The grant helps non-profits cover a portion of their operational revenue lost due to COVID-19.  The Besser Museum is also grateful to be a recipient of a $2,500 Emergency Relief grant from Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs. These federal funds were provided to the Council by the National Endowment for the Arts and are to be used to cover salaries and facility costs impacted by COVID-19.
