Kaleidoscopes includes 20 cut paper designs reproduced from the series, "Kaleidoscope of Alpena's Gingerbreads, etc.", by Shirley Ritzler.  This series was inspired by Shirley's interest in the decorative architectural elements on the older homes and public buildings in Alpena, Michigan.
