Season of Light 2022
The Besser Museum’s annual Season of Light Christmas exhibit is now on display through January 7, 2023.
There are a total of 45 decorated Christmas trees throughout the main level of the museum. Season of Light exhibit designer, DeLynn Medina, created a Mardi Gras theme for the center gallery. DeLynn and her sister, Lauri Anderson created thirty Mardi Gras masks that can be found tucked in with colorful strands of Mardi beads on several of the trees.
Twenty-one Christmas trees are on display in the Community of Trees Gallery. Each tree was decorated by an area non-profit agency to showcase the mission of their organization and the services they provide to the community throughout the year.
Museum visitors will also enjoy a stroll through the decorated Avenue of Shops exhibit and the Trees of Nations exhibit. The Trees of Nations exhibit displays multi-cultural tree-trimming traditions from around the world.
Besser Museum is open Monday 10am – 4pm, and
Wednesday through Saturday 10am – 4pm.
Planetarium Shows are available Wednesday through Saturday.
The Museum is closed to the public on Sunday and Tuesday.
