Dorothea Sandra is a popular international and national commissioned artist known for creating “happy” art.  She is the author of  "100 Days Of Happy Happy Art" -  a book that takes the viewer on an informative journey through a new art field based on science and medical studies called Evidence-based Design. Dorothea is evidence-based (EDAC) trained and certified, and she strategically designs art for health, healing, and happiness.

Dorothea also likes to use abstract art to communicate messages about Smart Cities and is the creator of the SMART CITY ART Collection. Smart City planners around the world have already begun working on making our cities happier places where we can meet, feel safe, and enjoy. 


Her artwork has appeared in museums, galleries, newspapers, and magazines. From France to Hong Kong, Dorothea's art has sold around the world. She is deeply honored to be painting in Shanghai, China from mid-February to mid-May in 2026.
